Life is full of Challengers and now here comes IKE!

Unbelieveable! I stayed in my home during the hurricane with a neighbor. The lake looked like Galveston and I do not mean the debris! The waves were horrendous and repeatedly beat at my bulkhead over and over again. The bulkhead held, but was badly damaged. My home was sparred, but the sewers backed up and ruined all the carpeting.

Insurance is not going to pay and FEMA said that flooring is "cosmetic".

Immobilized

Well, this "resting" is getting to be a big bore. I accomplished a lot today work wise and otherwise too! My babies kept me company.

I did take a few breaks to walk outside to water the flowers in the back garden. Later in the afternoon, I cleaned my pool. I even sprayed some pesticides around my pool in hopes of getting rid of some of the spiders.

It was an extraordinary day, that I wish I could have been out in the weather rather then inside.

My leg does not seem any better to me. The Hematoma pretty hard to the touch and while it does not look infected, the skin around the center of it is becoming black.
